Leadership
The Department has a highly qualified academic staff comprising Candidates of Sciences, PhD holders, Master’s degree holders, Associate Professors, Senior Lecturers, and experienced teacher-coaches. The educational process is based on modern pedagogical technologies, sports and pedagogical practice, digital educational tools, and the development of students’ practical skills.
Educational programme
The educational programme is aimed at preparing specialists with pedagogical, coaching, organizational, and research competencies required for professional activities in the field of physical education and sport.
Theory and methodology of physical education, sports games and athletics, gymnastics, swimming, health-enhancing physical education, the fundamentals of sports training, and methods of organizing sporting events.
Theoretical knowledge is combined with practical skills. Students undertake pedagogical and professional internships in secondary schools.
Students enhance their professional skills through dual education and pedagogical internships at schools and specialized centers in the region.
Sports clubs
The Department actively supports sports clubs and extracurricular activities aimed at improving students’ athletic performance and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
